     I will go to London in England, and then I will meet my freinds. Also, I should study English more by my self. I couldn't study deeply in this semister. So, I didn't remember many grammar. And I will go back to Korea next year !

Post #9 - Ecotourism

This web site is in Korea. It is Korea national park ecotour web site. Actually, I went to Jasper national park, too. I booked there camping place. It was good experience because there is fresh air and good viewing. Also, I could see a bear beside of road. I slept in camping tent. I kept the food tresh because it can make nature polution. We can learnd from ecotourism. It is inportant for nature.

Post # 8 - Tourism

     Korea has a lot of tourism. Maybe other countries are same. The most popular type of tourism provided is cheap price, viewing and food I think. I went to New York, China, Japan. New York travel was free trip, on the other hand, other countries applyed from travel agency.  Travel agency is making to book and plan. I remember when I went to Japan, I went to many temple and ate Japaness food. Its type was traditional place tour. It was great ! And when I went to Island in Korea, travel agency provided cheap price of bus and airplan. And I could go to many good place. I want to go to trip again !

Post#7 - BIC "Lady Pens"

     Actually, I didn't understand why lady pens are funny. I tried to watch in my home again, but I still don't understand. I just laughed because people are laughing and dog. I think that Lady Pens are nothing reason. Its colour are pink and purple. That's all. I thought that reason because of colour ? My feel about these pens is strang. It is not lady pen. Also, It means not equlity. I think that Ellen's point is equlity. Nowdays, women also wear pants and over 1998. I know that men also can think "Where is men pens?" It's not fair. We can make mistake about sexual discrimination because of these things when we couldn't lack awareness.

Post #6. Gender Roles

     4. What are the responsibilities of a father?
A father should make money for family. It's important. Also, father help to family when family have some problems. But I think men or women can become a father. Nowdays, gender roles is changing.
    
     6.What do you think about stay at home mothers?
I think that is good if they want. Because if nobody is house, children's feeling is going to sad. They need a mother. Mother roles is importanting.
    
     13. Should boys and girls be brought up differently?
     No, I think that we should respect individuals personalilty. If someone impose gender roles to boys and girls, maybe they will have wrong values about identity.

     16. Someone is talking about a nurse. Do you think the nurse is male or female?
Actually, I think that female because I didn't see a male nurse but now I know that male can become a nurse. When I was child, I want to become a nurse. I thought that nurse is beautiful woman and pink wear. It looked good for women's job.

     19. Are men and women equal in their intelligence?
I think that It depends, but, usually, men and women is diffirent their abilites. So, they have diffirent a field of intelligence.

Post #5, Halloween

      I was looking foward to Halloween this year because I didn't celebrate for the Halloween every years. Actually, people enjoy Halloween party in Korea. For example, club party and pub events, but Korean don't prepare to candy for children on each house because It's not traditional.  Before, I couldn't go to Halloween party in school on Friday. I was sick and cut my finger, so I just rested in my house. :( It was really unlucky day. I bought a dracula teeth, but I didn't use it. However, some Canadian gave me some candy and chocolate on Halloween day. They wore costumes. And they had many candy. They were stranger, but I felt friendly by Halloween. and I saw people who wore costumes. It was too cold, but people wore too short clothing !I didn't enjoy for the Halloween party, but I like Halloween. In this time, people are laughing,enjoying and fun ! It can make people happy ! It can help people to escape in usuall life ! This photo is my speaking class mate Taka! I like him. He is so funny !!

Post #4 - Going to Extremes:Sports and Obsession

     When I quitted my job, I went to the Halla-moutain in Je-Ju, Korea. The Halla-mountain is the highest mountain in South Korea. I wanted to achieve for the climbing. Also, I wanted to focus on me. Climbing time took for 12 hours! (I started at about 6 a.m. I finished at about 6 p.m.) It was very hard for me. I got out of breathe walking up the mountain. When I climbed the mountain, sometimes, I wanted to give up because the mountain grew steeper as I climbed higher, my legs were trembling, I was spent up. so I needed concentration myself for long time as time goes by. The more closed to top of the mountain,  I got obsessed because of my mind that I shouldn't give up. I saw that many people who climbed gave up. I hesitated. I thought that maybe it's first time and last time. It may beneficial on me, so I didn't give up. When I went to the top of the mountain, it was awesome ! Actually, it was cold, tired and painful, but I felt a sense of accomplishment. After climbing, I got fatigue for long time, but I didn't regret. It left to my first extrem sports and good memory.

Post #3. Fraud

     Oneday, I went to Daehangno in Korea. It's famouse for play, but usually, when I go to Daehangno, I just meet friends, talking and eating. When I've walked the street, a man asked me that "Do you want to see movies or plays?", so I thought that just ignore it, but he followed me. And then continuously, "If you buy this card, you can see many famouse movies and plays for 50% off price everywhere !", actually, it was very interesting, so I stoped my walking and answered, "really?" I think that it was stupid. Anyway, he said, you just pay for 10 dollars, so I thought that "only 10 dollars? it's awsome!", so I bought the card. when I went back home, card web site is real, but movies and plays weren't interesting because it was old. Also, some movies and plays didn't discount. I thought that it is fraud. I begrudged the money!

Post #2. Advertising

     I agree that somecountries have laws that forbid ad campaigns for tabacco. In Korea, tabacco advertising campaigns forbid, but alcohol ad campaigns is legal. Tabacco is so bad for healthy. Especially, it is so bad for lung. Now, cancer of the lungs is increasing. I think that reason why tabacco. Tabacco is a kind of drug, so tabacco ads may give rise to serious trouble for people. In Korea, high school students can't smoke and drink until they become 20 years old, it's law, but if we don't have laws that forbid ad for tabacco, many young students may want to smoke when they become a adult. They don't have enough discernment so goverment should forbid ads for tabacco. Since I was a child, I've seen TV and ads campaigns that tabacco is bad for child, pregnant woman and lung. Every year, many people decide to stop smoking so in January, tabacco of sales decrease, interesting is that tabacco of sales increase again day by day. I think that many people want to stop smoking, but nonsmoking is difficult because it's drug. And alcohol, too, but I don't know why allow the alcohol TV commercials. Usually, it is traditional alcohols and beers. Many Korean like So-Ju. It's similar Vodkas.  I think many Korean like alcohol, karaoke and talking. Therefore, I agree that forbid ad campaigns for tabacco. It's paradox though.  Anyway, So-Ju TV commercials appear beautiful women. This ads is that my favorit So-Ju ads.

     Hi, nice to meet you. I'm Lily also my Korean name is Hwa-jeong Go. I'm from South Korea. I already graduated in my university. Also, I used to work in fashion company, but I want to speak English well. If I can speak English well, it help me for my life or my job someday because English is global language, so That's why I come here for study English. I've been to Calgary for almost 6 month. I didn't experience of winter in Calgary. Yesterday, I very surprised because too cold !! I realized that I shoud buy warm clothes. This week is long weekend. I'll go to chinook mall. Maybe there are sale. Don't missed sale if you don't have winter clothes. And after before semester I went to Banff, Edmonton and Lake Louise. It was really nice trip ! I saw bear on the beside road. I had a good memory.  And I recommed to Edmonton mall and swimming pool ! so I want to make a plan after this semester. I want to go to London and study hard !
